    Cherryland is probably my last big release for this year. I mean over 10 songs. I had a long and active year in 2022, it is high time to slow down and take a break.

    Cherryland, as the title suggests, has a lot in common with Dark Cherry, namely I cover old Dark Cherry songs as part of it. All songs are free to grab on this page by the way.

    Be careful, 53 minutes (!) of mid-tempo lofi beats awaits for you. I put my effort on highlighting the melodies of each Dark Cherry song. So in short, it took time.

    Anyways, feel free to use the timestamps and skip songs. Check them all, they feature a large variety genre-wise, given the fact the original ones are different as well. All were mastered with the same lofi effect routine I use for other songs. Major difference is however, that these beats were fully produced with Ableton, whereas many of my recent beats are recorded with PO-33 KO and/or Koala Sampler.

    Fun facts of Cherryland

    I started this project in January 2021 and finished in October 2022.

    This is the first full album containing Dark Cherry albums, produced under Latte Chill project.

    Almost all songs are built up the same way, how the original songs were, I even used the scores to make sure.

    I asked Jigsaw to check all Cherryland songs before the release and Cay listened to the album right on the release day. So 3 Dark Cherry members took part in the production.

    Last Song - Latte Chill

    Time for the last single: Last Song closes down my 12 single run of releases. All inspired by Dark Cherry songs we either performed or played in studio.

    Genre is lofi chill as usual. A bit of upbeat tempo is expected due to original tune. I mean Dark Cherry was more a rock band, therefore most songs are not the best if I slow them down too much.

    Last Song was a unique song by Dark Cherry. We were about to perform it, yet somehow this song ended up in the studio. This means we actually practised it already but the band ceased activities before the debut. Funny given its title, but maybe this is why I chose this song as the closing one for Cherryland album.

    Cherryland will be the title of the album. Pre-save it through the link and wait until… 10th October. All the 12 songs will be released on every stream platforms finally.

  • [Single] Monster

    Monster is the 11th lofi single from upcoming album ‘Cherryland‘. While it will be 10th of October, when the album will be largely available, the story behind is more than 15 years old.

    About Cherryland and Dark Cherry

    Dark Cherry was my band along with 4 mates. We performed live between 2008 and 2010, while originally started the band 15 years before in 2007. Since then a couple of EPs and singles were released until 2011.

    In 2020 I started a project with Darkest Cherry, aiming to cover these songs occasionally.

    What makes Monster special?

    Simply, it was our first and most played song. A pretty raw metal song. That created me quite a challenge to cover it in lofi chill music. On the other hand, it became kind of a love project. I hope you will enjoy the minimalism spiced with some hip-hop beats.
