Still here? Then let me share you some more information about Verdanturf.

It is a beat composed on PO-33 KO during the trip to Lefkada. Consequently also features videos I shot on Lefkada. It is quite a beat oriented song where I emphasised on kick’n’claps. I added bass on top. The high-end got some oriental flute melody that gives a body of the song. Verdanturf is not trying to be more than what it is. An easy lo-fi beat that you may listen in the background. Fully vocalless and pretty simple.

The second song is the demo version of Old Ale. A beat I was originally composed on DAW but later reworked on my PO-33 KO to match the style of Sapphire album. Therefore we have a weird case here. I mean the demo song is more reach that the finished one. Yet, I believe that offered a harmony for Sapphire album in general. On the other hand it makes my b-sides more lively. You might get interested in B-Sides #3 as well that features Old Ale (demo).

  • [Single] Fallarbor

    Fallarbor by Latte Chill

Listen to Fallarbor, my latest single above and download it for free. Fallarbor was inspired by the famous Pokémon game and release as part of Sapphire album. It is the first one but further singles will be released later this month.

The song is a koto based meditative beat emitting oriental vibe. These type of Far East chill-out beats are usually composed in DAW, yet this song was recorded and performed on my PO-33.

The pentatonic scale and minimalist drums offer a steady but slow flowing of melodies. A bit speedy for yoga music, more like café vibe or focus music to my point of view.

Fallarbor single also offers a free song as an add-on. Little Root’s demo version is part of the release. Fun fact about this song: this was the original version. I mean the one I composed while playing with the game. The reason why I changed it later is that I composed the songs with my PO-33 KO and recorded them live. This song was put together in Ableton. So it is more reach, a bit different than the ones I created with the pocket sampler. Therefore a new version of Little Root was born later and the original became demo. I hope it makes sense. I thought I share you this little story behind the b-sides.
