Short note about Stock Stories: coming pretty soon now~

    Song recorded live

Like many of my beats lately, that were produced with PO-33 KO. A minimal budget sampler I have lately acquired along with a Tascam field recorder. Check the article above with my in-depth assumptions and review in case you are consider buying your next gadget.

Also get the vibe of a PO-33 KO by checking the video above. It is a fully live record, you hear this song on the single as well. I mean, I did add some effects but no major change happened with the record after the video. I imported as a single line into Ableton and added some master (EQ, reverb) to make it sound more natural.

  • [Single] Couscous

    Couscous - Latte Chill

Couscous is the second song from Stock Stories EP (to be released pretty soon). Pre-save and follow the link below to learn more about the release: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/lattechill/stock-stories-2

    So, why Couscous?

I was pretty much inspired by our hedgehog Couscous while producing this beat. A lovely and quite awkward hedgehog we own and share our plates with. Learn more about him through his Instagram page below. Beware, cuteness overload to come: https://www.instagram.com/lucius_couscous/

    Procuded on a PO-33 KO

The song itself was produced with Teenage Engineer Pocket Operator KO 33. It is a pocket sampler, probably the most budget currently on the market. It comes therefore with some limitations but perfect for lofi enthusiasts, who wish to create dope beats on the go.

Listen to the song below and if you like it – grab it for free below: https://lattechill.bandcamp.com/album/couscous

    Couscous live

Good news, I have recorded the process. So you may enjoy watching the PO-33 KO in action. I bought a red case as well to make it look cool. #lol

The point is on the other hand that it is fully the song that has been used both on the EP and as single song. You can literally record full songs like that. Little after touch with Ableton adds a boost but a worthy instrument to my point of view.

Lastly, a little video with the subject of the song. Little guy enjoying the garden running back and forth.

Curry Murphy live on PO-33 KO

Given the fact I am new to this gadget, I decided to record most of my sessions. I mean mostly I like to call my beats lofi sketches. They are not really full-fledged songs, more like beats. But I am not intending to add vocals or more instruments at the end. Not for the most of them. Almost like little sketches you do on the go. But not with pencil, I use my instrument instead. More an audio sketch. I hope it makes sense… #lol
