  • [Single] Fly Poison

Fly Poison Dark Cherry cover single by Latte Chill

New single: Fly Poison. An old Dark Cherry song remake we performed on stage from 2008 to 2011. One of the first songs we put together with the team members including Jigsaw and Kyoki. Later fine-tuned by Cay and Kai. Almost had it on every single gig.

I enjoyed those times and as a reminiscence I decided to rework it. It ended up being a partially chiptune video game-ish. On the other hand lo-fi break beat like song.

Click on the player to listen to the song. If you enjoyed Fly Poison, feel free to download it via my Bandcamp page. I also released a couple of other old Dark Cherry songs such as Memoire.

I hope to compile an album soon with these cover songs. Though I have to add I have tons of projects right now. Some includes lo-fi beats, new ones. I am also working on some T21CB beats – similar to this project. Furthermore I just released Rock 128, a chiptune album. Long story short, much on my plate but I wish to give you these songs one after another.

    Original version of Fly Poison

I thought I am posting you the original version of the song. Keep in mind that it was recorded with home tools only, therefore the sound quality is so-so. Same goes for the video. It was recorded with an old compact camera somewhere in 2009 or 2010.

This song was inspired by… guess what! Inspired by Prague, Czech Republic. I have been to the city numerous times. I love being there. The old town is offering such a vibe worth experiencing. Also the castle up in the city. Well, it takes some effort to walk up, but a great place. Furthermore you can try chimney cakes as well with ice-cream in the middle. That is a dope thing to try.

I could add beers as well as Czech pilsner is quite well-known. With some wurst and remoulade sauce it brings the magic. Only thing is, well – be careful by the roads. Some people tend to drive a bit faster than what you may experience in Vienna or in the German towns. Anyways, a must see place and therefore title song for Latte Chill project.

Grab Prague Parade for free by clicking on the cover. Enjoy minimal lo-fi house beats and follow this page for more uploads. As always, thanks for listening.

    Shogi pv with Tokyo nights

Check this little but peaceful video of the Tokyo night from above. Lovely scenery matching my latest song’s vibe, right? I happened to be in Tokyo in 2019. One of my best journeys so far. Loved that place. I wish I can afford to travel back sometimes later.

    Fun facts about the single

The cover photo was taken in Budapest close to my apartment during sakura. It means cherry blossom, the rebirth of nature. I used this and similar photos during the production of Wabi-Sabi. Hoping to release another Asian (or oriental) themed lofi beats LP. Simply, I love working music like this.

The song itself is one of the earliest songs I have composed on my PO-33 KO.
