I know it is lame to start a Napster content like this. But NAPster, I hope you get it now~

So, let’s talk about this music platform. You might be surprise if you were active in the ’00s as this name meant something completely different. In short Napster was a music share P2P solution, a quite popular in fact. Even though they have been used by many, back then it was pretty difficult to control copyright over the internet (it is still a challenge though). So after a few lost legal cases they went bankrupt.

Still, this 4 years were enough to build a brand, which is crazy.

Well, I’m happy to announce that I am present on the channel with my discography. You can find me here. Fun fact that according to their algorithm, I’m considered to be “World Pop”, “Jazz” – I take this part as a complement. Furthermore “Electronica/Dance”, which is more or less OK, if I consider Akira EP, but in majority…

To my major surprise I’m even considered to be “Latin Rap/Hip-Hop”, “Folk” and lastly “Holiday Music”.

So one thing is certain lo-fi and chill music is either unknown for Napster, or I need to change a bit my style ha-ha. Sadly, no chance to log in as an artist or to claim the channel, but hey. Fun thing to be part of the legend.
