About Singles #9
Singles #9 is my ninth lo-fi and chill-out compilation album. It features 16 singles mainly released by the end of 2021 and the early months of 2022. Generally I release these compilation albums slower. Somehow both 2021 and 2022 ended up giving me enough time to release more beats than usual. I guess it was 2018, when I had such an active year from solo music perspetive.
EPs & LPs of Singles #9
Starting the line with Sapphire lo-fi album that was released by the end of 2021. Singles #9 got 4 songs as part of this album. All produced on PO-33 KO.
The next EP was Stock Stories Extended. While Stock Stories is an older release – in fact the first EP that featured songs produced on PO-33 KO. The extended edition doubled the amount of songs available on the EP, boosting the tracklist with 4 new songs. Out of them, 2 became singles – both available on Singles #9 for free.
The story is similar with Wabi-Sabi Extended: 4 new songs were added. Only difference here that only one became single song. Yanbaru Jungle, the other single song for this release was part of the original version either.
The most beats came from Travellers album. It gave Singles #9 six (!) lo-fi beats to the release. In fact originally Travellers featured 7 singles, which is an absolute record. For the reasons behind, check the story of the album. With regards to the remaining song: Karma Rumba was released on Singles #8.
Lastly, Rock 128 with 2 experimental chiptune beats to spice Singles #9 a bit.
