Apple Music and Latte Chill

apple music

Did you know that Latte Chill is available on Apple Music? I had some talk with people around me in the recent days and realised that I might be focusing too much on Spotify and YouTube. Consequently less on other channels.

Even though the two players above are the biggest ones, still I find it important to mention other trendy stream platforms either.

As for Apple Music, find my profile here. I joined this platform the same time as Spotify with the help of Distrokid. Distrokid service let’s you distribute your music officially on the biggest stream platforms for a reasonable price.

Apple Music newsletters on performance

What made Apple Music different for me is the way how it is set up. I needed to create an Apple ID and then formally claim myself. It took literally weeks to get it through. Not that I had to do anything with it. The contrary, I guess it was checked manually and took that much of a time. No complaining, factually speaking. After that I can read bunch of interesting information about my performance sent every Friday:

Apple music stats

Like the number of plays during the past week along with the number of Shazams. I know it is pretty low right now. Truth to be told, it was not my best week. I am about to release something new (but more about it later).

I also have an information on the best performing beats as well as their change compare to the previous time frame. Furthermore I have some information on the geo location of the listeners that might help me decide the wheres of my next campaign.

Clearly, I have the same stats for Shazamed songs as well.

You can check more stats on Apple’s artist page. Though you will need to pass through the double authentication, where you will receive some numbers on SMS to identify yourself. I find this solution a good one. On the other hand there is no Android application that is not so comfortable for the majority.

I can also change artist picture here – that is also manually checked (usually 2-3 days). Whereas I find these steps quite reassuring, I still miss some dope features like the yearly overview of Spotify, or the tips and trick mails of YouTube. Furthermore playlists, they trigger Spotify’s fame, at least for lo-fi music fans. Yet, I cannot find these on Apple Music. Or not yet~
