About B-Sides #2
B-Sides #2 is a compilation album with 20 demo beats from my past releases. All songs are b-side songs, this is how the LP title came.
Genres: lofi, chill, 8-bit and some electro experimental beats.
Listen them with love but also make sure to find the original (final) versions as well to hear the differences.
B-Sides series was started in 2018 as I felt like a mix of them is worth listening in the background. As these beats changed a lot, it feels quite different to hear the original versions. Also, as it covers time to time 10-15 singles, the mix is indeed a mix. It features different genres.
Some albums and EPs that cover songs from B-Sides #2
B-Sides #2 features some songs from space ambient EP Bebop I. Year 2017 album also delegated some beats to the release from Urban Cold Night single. The sampled version is pretty close to the original one. Only difference is that I played the beats instead of the samples.
As for chiptune beats, this release is a real source. Both Soul Silver and ReMirakels delegated bunch of demo beats. In fact 13 songs from the 20 are from the B-Sides of these singles. That is quite a sum right? Majority of Soul Silver songs are 8-bit improvisations. I sampled Game Boy Advance sounds to achieve the vibe. Read more about Soul Silver through the link above.
Finally, Bebop 2 Demo album offered some further songs to the compilation album. They are more relaxed chill-out beats with piano play. All beats improvisation of that album.
