  • [Single] Alice

    alice

Old, 10+ year old Dark Cherry song reimagined: this is Alice, my latest single. Read more to learn about it below.

Alice was originally released in 2009 by Dark Cherry and guess what? It was inspired by Alice in Wonderland – what a surprise!

The song infuses the dream world, the fight for truth and the madness that can be found in everyone. As a result the original song was pretty heavy to be honest.

I mean match it with the song I reworked after listening to the original (demo) version. It was a pretty difficult task. Nevertheless, I enjoyed working on an experiment like this.

Actually, this song is the first of a long lasting project called Cherryland. As Dark Cherry is more than 15 years old now, I believe it is high time reworking some of our hits.

    Did you check both songs?

Which one do you like better?

I guess it is a question of taste, still not an easy decision. The lyrics are pretty straightforward and it was impossible to convey this message through the instrumental cover.

Also heaviness of the song is losing its touch, when I turn off the amp and lover bass distortion, right?
