  • [Single] Berries Falling

    Berries Falling - Latte Chill

Last single and last song of Hospital Playlist EP, Berries Falling offers a laid back lofi and nature chill vibe beat sketch.

Not much I can add at this time. By the time I was working on this song, it was late afternoon and I spent all my day at a hospital. It was an early November day and I was tired quite a bit. Despite of the coffees and cappuccinos I drank to keep myself warm.

No complaints at my end, luckily everything went well. I just wish to share the nature of this song, how it was born. I found some good samples and thought, let’s give it a try. Berries Falling on the other hand ended up becoming a good song, surprisingly I can say. Give it a spin and let me know what you think about it.

By the way, did I mention that Berries Falling was completely produced on Koala Sampler? My lightweight on-the-go smartphone app to produce beats easily. I keep my samples on Google Drive, so I can grab any of them as per my need. Luckily, I refreshed my bag right before the travel so I had a large variety. And this is how I was able to produce beats efficiently.

  • [Single] Ichi-Go Ichi-E

    Ichi-Go Ichi-E - Latte Chill

Experimental instrumental beats single Ichi-Go Ichi-E right from Shogunate EP is here. The single features 2 new lofi songs inspired by the Far East.

But only vaguely. I mean again this is an experimental single and in general an experimental EP. I produced many of these songs on the go. Either I used Koala Sampler or Pocket Operator 33 KO. It depended on my mood.

I believe both are perfect budget lofi samplers. Biggest difference maybe lies on the fact that Koala Sampler is always in my pocket (as my smartphone). On the other hand PO-33 KO has knobs and buttons. Makes it more vibey to compose beats.

Returning to Ichi-Go Ichi-E, I enjoy many books recently on the topic of how to live, Japanese lifestyle etc. I have some albums already with this topic, like Wabi-Sabi. This is why I claimed that it is inspired by the Far East.

Got into the vibe as well? Give it a spin below.

If you like the song, grab it through the link on top (click on the cover). Don’t forget to wait and listen to Kintsugi II. It is a single B-Side exclusive song (now free). Enjoy them both.

  • [Single] Fungi Melody

Fungi Melody web - Latte Chill

Forth single of Hospital Playlist lofi EP Fungi Melody beat sketch comes with an extra B-Side song, both for free.

If you wish to download them, click on the cover and enjoy the single immediately. Also, feel free to hit play below and listen to the song.

Furthermore, I shared the song on YouTube as well, if Bandcamp is not your fave player.

With regards to the song, I composed it during my chill time, while I was waiting at a hospital. Luckily, nothing bad happened, we just had to stay there for awhile, to make sure.

Anyways, enjoying the given free time, I decided to sketch over Netflix and chill in the garden. It was a chilly day, so I had my reasons to buy cappuccinos as well. All set, I was working on beats. I managed to finish a complete EP. Though, read more on top through the link to learn more and listen to the complete Hospital Playlist.

As for Fungi Melody, it is one of my fave song from the EP. Unluckily, I almost lost the first record and had to restart the song. Luckily, I recorded it with screen record. So, at the end, I was able to revive the first version (becoming a B-Side beat) but also re-create the song in a more proper and probably better way.

Check both songs and let me know, which one is better!
