    Pagoda‘s second oriental chill single arrives with Oath of the Moon. A koto and shamisen focused Far East inspired song for free.

    As mentioned already this is the second single from Pagoda EP, a sakura themed East Asian folk chill beats. Spoiler, third to come as well. No wonder I was not adding “second and final”.

    By the way, can you guess the source of the photo? I mean it is my own one, but where was it taken? It is my photo of Asakusa, one of the most amazing areas of Tokyo. It was taken by the market right after sunset. Walking there was such an amazing thing back in 2019.

    Allow me to share some old videos on this topic. Featuring a different song of course. I produced Oath of the Moon years later inspired by this walk. We travelled there with my wife. I remember even grabbing some food for dinner by a local restaurant around this area. It was a lovely experience.

    Hoping to get back one day.

    This song is featuring traditional instruments such as koto and shamisen (same for all Pagoda beats) aiming to offer a true oriental vibe. I also focused on having less beats. In this way this song is more meditative to my point of view.

    This East Asian inspired genre is long close to my heart. I travelled to Tokyo in 2019. Even since (and even before), I produce tons of beats inspired by this aura. I also dream of getting back years later with my family and relive this true vibe. I mean I love living in Europe but time to time encountering something completely different inspires me for making good music and renew myself as Latte Chill.

    Lie Dark Cherry cover

    Lie is a lofi cover song of my old band, Dark Cherry. We performed it between 2008 and 2011 several times on stage.

    I shot the cover photo in Venice many years before. I think in a way it offers a good vibe, matching the song. But give it a spin and let me know.

    It was recorded by the end of 2010 in our home town Szeged. We had many gigs featuring this song. I know the quality is not the best but my give a hint of what we where like.
