    The Bebop Vibe

Latte Chill #9 carries the cinematic undertone of Cowboy Bebop – both in name and spirit. From the dusty piano of “Spike’s Prairie Oyster” to the noir-funky rhythm of “Mushroom Samba” and the melancholic reprise in “The Real Folk Blues,” this mix invites you to explore space… from your headphones.

It’s also a throwback celebration, with tracks sourced from different eras of the Latte Chill discography – including Earth, ReMixtery, and my early ambient experiments.

The Earth versions of several songs add warmth and analog grit, bridging chillhop with organic instrumentals. If you liked the beats, find some of them for free below. All links are pointing to my Bandcamp page.

  • [Single] Hard Luck Woman

    hard luck woman

A single from Bebop IV within the genre of space chill hinted with the warmth of lofi: Hard Luck Woman was an entertaining single to work on.

If you don’t have time: click on the cover and get the song for free. Any shares are appreciated.

If you have too much time: click on Bebop IV and read the story behind the production of the complete EP.

For all the rest, thank you for reading my little article on this song.

As you may have guessed it right: it is inspired by Cowboy Bebop. A famous anime from the early ’00s. I composed all beats episode by episode, trying to offer you my feelings of that episode in question. At the end I released 20+ songs over 2 years of work time. Enjoy them all on my website.

Besides sharing the song on different compilation albums and EPs, I have also created some basic footage video with the song over the years. I had some night videos:

Trains during a locomotive event in spring (or early summer):

And even fishes during my trips.

I wonder which one fits the best…

  • [Single] The Real Folk Blues

The Real Folk Blues Latte Chill

Soothe your mind with jazzy chill vibes of The Real Folk Blues. One of the last songs before the release of Bebop IV. A four piece set of space chill EPs, all inspired by Cowboy Bebop anime. I hope you enjoy them all, feel free to check my page and listened to all the 24+ beats I composed inspired by the series.

    About The Real Folk Blues

Even though the title might be a bit misleading as a very famous song (the end title of Cowboy Bebop) shares it. This song is not inspired by the song itself. It is more relying on the episode titled like this by the end of the series.

Without much of a spoiler I can say that all the tension built up though the series is hitting the top in this episode. I intended to built it into this song by making it a bit more longer, offering more time to vibe. During the production I added more reverb and delay, it makes the song more spacey, yet chill. I used acoustic drum samples to offer a vinyl vibe as a counter point for the futuristic pads and the vast space for the ears the large amount of reverb creates. It gives therefore a noir vibe at the end with bittersweet chill.
