  • [Single] Chip

    chip latte chill

Chip is a chiptune beat inspired by Mega Man (aka Rock Man) video game by Capcom and released in 2012, when I moved to Budapest.

In case you haven’t heard about Mega Man, I feel like I must add some notes here.

Similarly to Super Mario Land and other Nintendo games, Mega Man is kind of an arcade game. Jump and dash forward, defeat bosses, save Queen Peach, I mean the world.

On the other hand, it is a bit more difficult to my point of view. When you jump, you just never know if you are falling into a trap or to the right place. You have to make sure your timing is correct, etc. Honestly, this game requires much more patience.

Yet, the video up there was my first game by them and I loved it. Still considering it as my fave game. Or at least one of them.

I still remember the stage code of the next team with:

    RB_BE_
    _EEEE_
    __RR__
    ERREBE

And I haven’t played with it like 10 years! Crazy.

So, tributing to this vibe, here I go with Chip. A chiptune beat and OST of my imaginary ‘LatteChill Man’ ha-ha.

Grab the song below and listen to Singles #1 as well.

  • [Single] Aoi

    Aoi Latte Chill

Aoi was inspired by a famous Japanese drama called Bloody Monday. I wished to have a complete tribute album but back then in 2011 my life changed just to much and I lost motivation for composing music.

In fact until the revival of Latte Chill project (2016 autumn), I did not really composed anything. Maybe read a bit more about it here.

Update: Also this song… well in a way a tribute to Miura Haruma, who sadly took his own life years later and was the lead actor of Bloody Monday. What a shock, when I composed this beat, I never ever imagined that this melancholy will end up as a tribute. RIP for a great actor and a shock we all need to digest. What a day!

I can’t say enjoy this song. But instead: listen to this sad chill song for free with a mug of coffee and watch the drama if you can – worthy to give it a try! As a tribute, it will stay free. I hope you will like it.

I also add a video here I shot in Tokyo in 2019 as I used Aoi the song as part of it. Enjoy the ride.

  • [Single] Inverze Fata Morgana

    inverze fata morgana latte chill

Inverze Fata Morgana is a minimal electro dance beats single is out for free for you. It will be fully covered on my upcoming album, Raw Disco Unit. Coming very soon! Keep following for more information.

Click on this link or on the cover if you wish to own this song. It is free on my Bandcamp page, so follow the link and enjoy along with the b-side song.

If you do not want to download it, listen to it below. Hit play button and enjoy the song.

Fun fact: on the second song of this single I play the piano and recorded the piece analogue (no vsts, daw etc). It is called The World Has Left and if I recall it well I recorded it on one of my old keyboards. I guess the Korg Triton LE61. That was the one I have been using around this time (I recorded this song between 2010 and 2011) – can’t remember exactly. The point is, I felt like I need to play something bare hands instead of programming it like the most of Raw Disco Unit. So here I am with a unique b-side improvisation song.
