  • [Single] Artist of Time

artist of time - latte chill single

Artist of Time is a single, part of Memories of the Untold chill album. This song is unique in a way and in terms of the production. Got interested? Hit play button and check it out. Can you guess why? What makes it special?

The answer is simple. Because I composed it in 120 bpm, therefore I was able to sync it with clocks in the house. A crazy little experiment I did with success.

It is also one of the first songs I composed with the plan to add some videos (for YouTube) – make it more artist like. Promotion, adding some story and so on. It was high time probably…

Maybe, this is why I gave this title. I cannot remember to be honest.

As for the cover photo on the other hand, it was shot in Tokyo, near Tokyo Station at the Royal Gardens. As the original cover was very basic and I was lacking the concept, I added a proper cover years later, somewhere in 2020. Yes, 10 years later. This single has a story of a decade. I hope it makes it a bit more interesting in your eyes.

By the way, check the single through the cover above and enjoy the beat along with a free b-side song.

  • [Single] The World of Hora

The World of Hora - Latte Chill

First single of Memories of the Untold The World of Hora is a free electro beat inspired by the Japanese darkwave artist.

Hora (also know from the darkwave duo Schwarz Stein with the singer Kaya) is an inspiring musician, who might not be the most well-known but he had great effect on me. His way of producing slowly building arp based dance (-ish), yet dark and heavy beats is pretty cool. Even after many years, I keep listening to his albums.

The song (mine this time) genre-wise a bit odd next to most of my chill beats as it is more upbeat, electro beat song than the usual urban or nature chill. As said before, this some is more like paying my respect to a mentor and influencer who deserves much more spotlight.

From technical perspective, I worked on FL Studio back then and composed this song as part of Memories of the Untold, my fifth chill album.

If you like the song, hit play button below or click on the cover. The song is fully free. Also enjoy my photo from Tokyo. As this single missed a proper cover, I decided to create one years later.

The song is also available on YouTube on my channel. If not Bandcamp, then YouTube, right?

Lastly, enjoy my experimental beats mix featuring similar songs: electronica and electro chill ones, like The World of Hora.

  • [Single] Every Mornings’ Asia

Every Mornings' Asia - Latte Chill

Every Mornings’ Asia – a totally consensual title for a song I guess. Still one of the first, if not, the very first Latte Chill song ever.

This is how all the things has started. If you are keen to read more about me, check our the About Me section for long story and the different eras of Latte Chill.

But why is this song so close to my heart? At the end, it was born as part of a journey. I was away to Germany through Erasmus, having time and no internet in 2009. Dark times… My band was on hold, so I had chance to focus on solo music production. Literally this is why I have Latte Chill today.

What is more, it was my first video every with crappy effects. The storyboard is not much, I walked into the office in Meiningen.

As for Oshare Booty, refer back to the link above and read the complete story behind.

Anyways, this song is fully free now. Enjoy it the fullest. Also check my YouTube and Bandcamp page for more. Learn more about No Past But Future as well, where I have first released the song as a free beat.
