New set: Eclectic Experimental Beats. After some balcony lives for a bit of change I chilled in the bathroom. What does it mean? On the washing machine of course! To be fair: it was much more fun that expected. As a result, I might be having some more mixes like that in the future.

I had green tea with green tea incense and some good movies to boost my beats (was Sweet Tai Chi).

    More about Eclectic Experimental Beats

This set is something new. I mean generally Latte Chill project indicates either lofi (lo-fi) or chill-out mixes. Despite my name, time-to-time I do produce electronic beats on the other hand. As a result, I have released numerous albums and EPs that are vaguely considered to be chill releases. One of them is Soul Silver, an album where I used Game Boy sounds sampled. On top of that all songs are semi-improvised live recorded ones. Another great example for that is Akira EP. This electronic music EP was inspired by the legendary anime of the ’80s. Third I would mention BR.Exit, which was produced based on true events. But could we finish the list without mentioning Raw Disco Unit? I guess no. And much more I could mention because this playlist is almost an hour long.

  • [Single] Chip

    chip latte chill

Chip is a chiptune beat inspired by Mega Man (aka Rock Man) video game by Capcom and released in 2012, when I moved to Budapest.

In case you haven’t heard about Mega Man, I feel like I must add some notes here.

Similarly to Super Mario Land and other Nintendo games, Mega Man is kind of an arcade game. Jump and dash forward, defeat bosses, save Queen Peach, I mean the world.

On the other hand, it is a bit more difficult to my point of view. When you jump, you just never know if you are falling into a trap or to the right place. You have to make sure your timing is correct, etc. Honestly, this game requires much more patience.

Yet, the video up there was my first game by them and I loved it. Still considering it as my fave game. Or at least one of them.

I still remember the stage code of the next team with:

    RB_BE_
    _EEEE_
    __RR__
    ERREBE

And I haven’t played with it like 10 years! Crazy.

So, tributing to this vibe, here I go with Chip. A chiptune beat and OST of my imaginary ‘LatteChill Man’ ha-ha.
