[Single] Floe

Floe – a chilly bit of chill beats for you directly from Orange album!

I wonder where to begin as I have so much to tell about this release.

Let me start with the cover: I took this photo during an especially cold winter day. If I remember right, I was on my way to work and I found some trees during my morning walk. I used my smartphone to grab the moment and then reworked a bit in apps to make it look a bit cooler. Though, looking at those ice shards, I think you chill already, right?

With regards to the song, I was already set on releasing Orange soon. It is always a lovely moment, when you have all the things set and just look forward to post them right?

While Orange is more a warm inspired chill beats album, Floe somehow offered a cool moment for the LP. On the other hand, it was released in February which is more of a cold season in Hungary. It aligns more with the current temperature.

Lastly, I wish to add that Floe had many reworks later, given its style. Some even features summer vibe, like this one below.

[Single] Faro Solitaro

Faro Solitaro is a lofi beat with nature chill elements. I released it months before A Drop of Water EP. It has a little story, I thought worth sharing here, so if you are interested – keep reading.

About Faro Solitaro

The title means lonely lighthouse. I guess it is my only song with Italian title by the time I drop this single. And why Italian?

I found a little but lovely lighthouse by the shores of San Andreas – a little island south-west from Sardinia. We travelled there with my wife during our trip to Portoscuso 2019. I took many photos and even videos of this place, hoping to return one day.

By the way check my Sardegna (Sardinia) pack of videos if you are interested in the beauty of nature in South-Italy with chill beats.

This was the moment when I decided that I want to compose an album inspired by the Mediterranean Sea. Due to the recent situation, I decided to go with an EP at first, but I hope to continue it later.

Live Bench 20/01/23 – a spontaneous chill mix born during a quiet moment outdoors. As the name suggests, this instrumental set was compiled live while sitting on a bench, letting the surroundings shape the flow and vibe of the mix.

This one’s all about slowing down, clearing your head, and breathing easy. With subtle ambient textures and gentle melodies, it’s perfect for slowing down, studying, or reflecting.

From the Bench

This mix captures a literal moment in time. It was assembled live on a cold January day, with nothing but headphones, a playlist of some unreleased drafts and releases in my hand. Having one of the most difficult time in my life, I was in need of unwinding more than anything else.

I chose some of my songs like “Rainy Day” and “Clouds” to mirror the grey sky above. And partially my mood.

“I Love You (ReMixtery ver.)” brings in reverb-heavy emotion and vintage warmth. Referring to the ones I love.

“Big Ben Jazz” adds a hint of upbeat café atmosphere before drifting back into the quiet with “Endless Silence.” As I was drinking a coffee on the bench while working on the beat.
