Second single of Hospital Playlist EP is titled Red Leaves. I consider this beat a happy vibe instrumental lofi sketch I produced on Koala Sampler. Well, in fact that is the case for the whole EP. I find this tool quite handy for on-the-go beat making and I decided in 2021 or 2022 that it will be my pocket tool for more sketches, when I have time.
And I do have it occasionally. Anyways, with regards to the song. It was produced somewhere in November last year. As you see, I could easily took some photos of red leaves. Hence the title.
I used Kultcamera app to take the photos. To my point of view it offers a ready lofi warm vibe photo quality, which emulates film photography fairly. And it matches with the vibe Hospital Playlist in general offers.

On the other hand I take my time experimenting as well. This is how Shogunate was born. Most of the songs were sketched while travelling. I used Koala Sampler app and Pocket Operator 33 as samplers on the go.
As a result (and maybe because these songs were produced in different places) I offer you a fully experimental, yet eclectic collection of 4 songs. Lefkada, if you haven’t heard about it yet, is a hidden gem in the Ionian Sea. And I guess many of you haven’t heard about it. Somehow this place gets shadowed next to Crete, Corfu and Mykonos.
Anyways, I had very limited knowledge about the island, despite Lefkada is supposed to be known for its stunning beaches, turquoise waters, and lush greenery.
With its laid-back atmosphere and picturesque villages, I daresay it’s the perfect destination for those seeking a peaceful escape. And the point is the peaceful part. We travelled there in September, which is not the core prime time for the season, yet the airport was still ultra packed.
And to our surprise, the place was super OK. In these chill videos I tried to capture the essence of this beautiful island, allowing you to experience its beauty from the comfort of your own home.

We spent most of our time in the town of Nidri as it seemed to be more quite, yet with a local port as well as mountains close by, offered the widest range of fun.
And that port really meant snorkelling and travelling to many of the close-by islands, such as Kefalonia or Meganissi.
