Enjoy my cherry blossom-themed single, Sakura no Ame, part of Sakura Sketches 3 EP. Spring is here now, nature is reborn. As buds appear on the trees, we tend to enjoy being out in nature more and more. Let it be urban or more rural. Somehow, we all get tired of cold weather. And this is why, although it is not that warm yet, we are to sunbathe as much as possible.
Sakura no Ame is inspired by this changing weather. The title itself (in my interpretation) may mean the rain of petals as the wind blows. But it may also refer to seeing the cherry trees in the rain. To deepen the meaning of it, I chose a sunset vibe cherry flower image as a cover, probably covering up all the possible weather of early April.
Thanks for reading all the way. I hope you enjoy my single and keep following for more.
Enjoy Tonbo no Uta single, a true sakura-inspired spring vibe Latte Chill single. The song is fully produced on Koala Sampler.
Regarding the title: Tonbo no Uta (とんぼの歌) literally means “Song of Dragonfly”, but may also refer to summer and early (warm) autumn, along with adolescence, growing up. The dragonfly on the other side is oftern perceived as a courageous bug, symbolizing agility and strength of a samurai. In short a brave song to listen in the warm sunset, bracing yourself for the future. Still offering a moment of chill. I wonder if you can envision my song based on that. I guess you should give it a spin, right?
It will be part of Sakura Sketches 4. Keep following my channels, I will share more information about the cherry blossom-inspired chill EP soon.
Lastly, about the cover. As I intended to offer a moment of chill before the next challenge, I chose a night image. I believe it fits the vibe the best. Naturally, petals and cherry flowers were key to add. I used one of my own photos. I hope you like it. Ready? Give it a spin below via YouTube, and if you like it, click on the cover. That will drive you to my Bandcamp page as well in case you wish to download it.
As the cherry blossoms bloom across the picturesque landscapes of Vienna, there’s a serene beauty waiting to be captured through the lens of lofi photography. So, I answered this call, grabbed my camera, and hit the road!
In this article, I’ll delve into the art of cherry blossom lofi photography. This time my inspiration draws from the beauty of Vienna’s springtime.
As a quick recap: lofi photography is characterized by its soft, grainy, and desaturated aesthetic. It offers a nostalgic charm reminiscent of bygone eras. Just as lofi music transports us to a realm of tranquility, lofi photography captures moments in time with a dreamy allure.
My Lofi Techniques
Drawing from insights provided by my old article on the Best Lofi Photography Techniques and Tips, you can explore various techniques to achieve the signature lofi look. From shooting with film to experimenting with editing software. I offer some in the article above like Snapseed and VSCO. But again, there are numerous ways to infuse your cherry blossom captures with vintage charm.
Embracing the “Sakura Vibe” – Cherry Blossom Vienna Lofi
Nowadays, the allure of cherry blossoms, or sakura, extends beyond Japan’s borders. With a blend of lofi photography techniques and a reverence for nature’s beauty, photographers in Vienna can capture the essence of sakura as well. They can also infuse their work with a warm, nostalgic vibe.
Just as lofi music and visual art are intertwined, so too are cherry blossom lofi photography and lofi music. I believe there is a symbiotic relationship between these art forms. My article linked above offers insights into the creative process and cultural influences behind both.
Immersing in Sakura Chill Music
