  • [Single] Memoire

    Memoire by Latte Chill

Memoire is a free song released by Latte Chill. If you are interested in the song, read more and I will let you know where to download. Later.

Memoire is a song heavily inspired by the oriental Japan. I sampled instruments such as koto or shamisen to offer that Far East type of a feeling. Oriental lo-fi hip hop is a rare thing however. Not to mention that this song is a cover.

    Memoire by Dark Cherry

Memorie was orignally released by my rock band Dark Cherry. The original version was composed by Kyoki and the fx and background melodies where designed by me. After a decade without Dark Cherry, I decided to rework it a bit in Latte Chill vibe.

If you like the old version, I have some good news. It is completely free here.

But the new version is different. That Memoire uses the same melodies but much slower. After all it is more an oriental chill out song than a rock metal one. Even though it is unlike Color Scheme, that features oriental instruments only. Memoire is more like a song with hip hop beats, almost trap like but still with a pinch from the Far East. I even feature the original bass and guitar lines rebuilt from the scores of the original song. Took me a while but I hope it worth the time.

I can add that I am still considering releasing a complete album featuring Dark Cherry songs. Though I am happy to remind you that Darkest Cherry also features 4 songs already. I released them in 2020 featuring some beats from the vault. All of those songs where played by us many times on stage. I hope to release more in the future.

And where to download? Thanks for reading this way long. The cover on top is the link.

  • [Single] Moody Vinyl Record

Moody Vinyl Record from Travellers lofi album by Latte Chill

Moody Vinyl Record is the last and latest lo-fi single of Travellers album released 3 weeks after the LP featuring an extra unreleased song. As always, click on the cover to discover. It redirects you to my Bandcamp page where you can grab the songs and support me (if you want).

Moody Vinyl Record has rich warm vibe imitating the cracks and hiss of an old vinyl record. It is furthermore moody and sometimes the music drops or cracks in the spin. I reached this kind of vibe using PO-33 KO with quality samples and some scratch effects.

New video was also recorded for the new songs. Check it out above, I hope you like the matching vibe mv I created for Moody Vinyl Record.

But it is worth mentioning that there is another song on the release. It is titled On the Road. A little upbeat lo-fi song I excluded from Travellers album right before the release. I pretty much like this song but at the end it was too much from tempo perspective. So I decided to put on a single. To me it belongs to Travellers album but not featured on the album. I wonder if it makes any sense for you. Anyways, the beats is below. Check the video or listen to it on the link under the cover.

  • [Single] Rushy Day

    rushy day

Rushy Day is a lo-fi single beat from Travellers album you may grab for free by clicking on the cover above. In case you are interested about the beat, production and else, check the song below and read further.

Rushy Day was originally composed somewhere last year in 2021. I produced the song using my PO-33 KO and spiced it with some samples. What made Rushy Day unique on the album as well as among other Latte Chill lo-fi beats is the short cuts. I mean this song has lots of short bleeps and boops chopped from samples. It makes the song pretty upbeat. Yet, I hope you find it more a happy vibe song.

As for the cover, it was shot in Vienna a couple of years before. I preferred this photo pretty much and was saving it up on my phone, looking for the perfect opportunity. It kind of matches that urban vibe Rushy Day offers. I mean like walking in the city until sunset. I really love these kind of days, especially when I have the chance to travel.

Rushy Day lo-fi single has a B-side song as well

Indeed, I was able to release Travellers singles with b-side songs. In this particular case it is the remake of Faro Solitaro. I recorded the beat much earlier last year live on my PO-33 KO. At the end I paired it up with Rushy Day. I believe the title song’s true lo-fi urban vibe matches with Faro Solitaro’s latest cover vibe. A bit of a dreamy sea beat but also focusing on the joy of being away from keyboard. Exploring the world and travelling.
