    Lastly, enjoy my cover art in general. While anime covers are pretty trendy, I still shoot my own covers and process them on my smartphone until I get the results I want. It was a bit more difficult with Akira cover but at the end I managed to get the vibe I was looking for.

    About Bebop Tribute

    Cowboy Bebop anime is one of my fave series I have ever watched. Time to time I re-watch it for the sake of true space cowboy vibe. As a result I often thought about composing some beats inspired by the episodes, characters etc. At the end I decided to start the project back in 2017. It was an utterly long way. I mean I was aware that 24 chill-out beats cannot be finished in a year. But it took me literally 2 years t finish.

    In the meantime I was of course working on other lofi and chill beat projects. I could not stay in one sub-genre for that long. On the other hand I also wished to make it special. So I composed some of the songs such as Jamming with Edward on piano. In fact on a Korg Triton LE61. I also involved Viktor, my mate to spice beats with guitar and other instruments.

    Finally I released Bebop II. in December of 2018. After that started January of 2019 with Bebop III. and finished the project with a longer EP in February. Essentially that was Bebop IV. It was quite a journey. I hope it worth the time. Give it a spin and I am happy to hear any comments from you.

    Anyways, what I wish to share with you is the following: Tanabata is my dreamy chill beats EP I released in 2018. Interesting fact that the chill EP contains 5 songs and all were composed with the same set and day/night.

    So it is kind of a one-go EP! I have some like that – BR.Exit as an example. But that EP has a completely different style and genre.

    I aimed to compose chill beats that remind the listeners to a traditional folk festival at night in Japan. Whether I managed or not, you will need to ear yourself. It was like one of the first attempts, but I really love that dreamy experience this EP offers.

    Do not miss Odori, if you are into very ceremonious beats, while Moon Rabbit if you wish to fall asleep and have good dreams. And all the rest to enjoy the complete EP.
