  • [Single] Aether House

    Aether House single cover

Aether House is not available as free single. It is my first release from Ultra Sun album. An album dedicated to Ultra Moon and Ultra Sun games, inspired by Pokémon’s fictional Alola region and some dope PO-33 KO effects with true lofi vibe.

Aether House is a slow, bit sad chill-out song. It features acoustic instrument samples and beats offering a natural vibe for the listeners. The song was indeed inspired by the famous Pokémon games. The reason for releasing both Moon and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is due to the fact that I played both. I thought it deserves more beats. I plan on releasing more Pokémon game beats.

Important note however, that they are inspired by the games but I am not sampling the original songs. I respect the copyright law.

On the other hand playing the game and being inspired by their marvellous places is OK. So I produce beats based on Alola. I love nature related games and to be honest this story is very good.

As for the cover, if I recall it well, I took it in Madeira. It is a little island, part of Portugal. We travelled there a couple of years before.

  • [Single] Starfish

Starfish is the last nature chill-out single from Turtle Island. A free beat you may grab below by clicking on the cover. It is a photo of an actual starfish I took years before. If I recall it well it was taken in Sardinia, Italy.

By the way, read more about my trip there in 2019 and check my chill videos.

Generally, Turtle Island is a concept EP I got based on my travels. The island of Zante heavily influenced me. But I wished to make it more a tribute to the Mediterranean Sea. I used Koala Sampler with chill guitar samples to make it sound dope. I consider this EP a medium tempo one. Not close to 60 bpm but more to 80-100. The reason is simple. Time-stretching is fairly doable with DAWs but yet to with Koala Sampler. On the other hand it is one of the EPs where I composed some songs on the go. It was more a test of the application and I feel like it was a success. In case of Starfish, I added some blips and boops with my PO-33 KO.

Anyways, enough of this, please enjoy the beat. Finally, thank you for listening!

  • [Single] Midnight Sun

Midnight Sun, the most peaceful nature chill-out song from Turtle Island EP. The song is a real island of peace for you. Mellow beats with slow melodies. A mix of lo-fi warmth and vinyl vibe boosted with acoustic samples. A mix put carefully together on Koala Sampler.

The cover photo features the sunset at the Golden Bay in Malta. A moment of chill with warm breeze and the sea full of jellyfishes. Ha-ha true story. There was a plate there showing the different ones worth not touching. That was years before. I wonder if it is still the case. Regardless, Malta is a unique place with great relaxing vibe. Midnight Sun in a way is a tribute to that vibe I felt years before. I hope to be able and visit that island again with my family.

Thanks for reading the story of Midnight Sun. Spin the song above through my Bandcamp page or below on my Youtube channel. If you like it, download it for free. Any support is more than welcome!
