  • [Single] Music Box

Fresh and hot: Music Box is out to soothe your mind. You might not be surprised if I tell you that the main sample is coming from an old vintage box you may remember seeing on your Grandma’s table at home.

I wished to imitate that old yet a bit noir vibe with basic acoustic beats and laid back melodies.

Did I manage to nail this vibe? Give it a spin below or click on the cover to download the song for free. Any comments are highly welcome.

As for the cover. I cannot recall it well, but I am almost 100% sure that I have taken the photo somewhere in Italy. In addition I would say, I took in South Italy.

This new lofi chill beats song from Memories EP. Click on the link and learn more about this lofi release. It was released right after Stay Home, featuring a similar vibe, yet complex feelings of cold winter and noir vibe old music box.

As a result, unlike Stay Home, it might be less happy, more close to the January Blue Monday vibe we all encounter after the happiness of X-mas.

Finally, I made a little YouTube video with a funny little cat. Enjoy it below and don’t forget to follow my channel for more beats.

  • [Single] Empty Road

    Empty Road

Lofi beat right from Memories EP: Empty Road – a bittersweet and sad chill beat with the warmth of true vinyl beats.

This new lofi chill single is out for free. Check this link to grab it before it goes! The song is inspired by trips and cold winter – sampled, 808 added and voila!

Did you give it a spin?

Did you enjoy it? Let me know your thoughts.

I hope, I put quite some time during my illness to learn more about vinyl emulation and offer you songs with the mild cracks and hisses as well as the laid back bass and comfy treble.

All these things? Yes, well. I think we all love vinyl vibe but at the end got used to modern (and sterile) songs either. During winter days around X-mas we all turn toward the disc player and think of the old times. But why not enjoying it during summer as well. This is why I started experimenting with different samples and methods for sampling.

Again, it is still under work, I try to evolve through my releases. This is why I call most of my songs sketches and offer majority of them for free.

  • [Single] Alice

    alice

Old, 10+ year old Dark Cherry song reimagined: this is Alice, my latest single. Read more to learn about it below.

Alice was originally released in 2009 by Dark Cherry and guess what? It was inspired by Alice in Wonderland – what a surprise!

The song infuses the dream world, the fight for truth and the madness that can be found in everyone. As a result the original song was pretty heavy to be honest.

I mean match it with the song I reworked after listening to the original (demo) version. It was a pretty difficult task. Nevertheless, I enjoyed working on an experiment like this.

Actually, this song is the first of a long lasting project called Cherryland. As Dark Cherry is more than 15 years old now, I believe it is high time reworking some of our hits.

    Did you check both songs?

Which one do you like better?

I guess it is a question of taste, still not an easy decision. The lyrics are pretty straightforward and it was impossible to convey this message through the instrumental cover.

Also heaviness of the song is losing its touch, when I turn off the amp and lover bass distortion, right?
