About Memories EP
First lofi release in 2021 and to be honest, I could consider this EP as the first lofi EP as part of Latte Chill project inspired by Stay Home lofi album, even though I literally just released my 15th album a month before.
This lofi EP was inspired by royalty free samples as well as the chill time during winter and Xmas. I had more time due to lockdowns and less willingness to go out as we had 0 snow this year but rain and cold. As a result I spent a lot in my room therefore enjoying music production.
I was thinking long if I should release my second fully lofi album immediately or release the EP faster. Luckily I chose not to pressure myself composing 2 albums within 2 months but offer more time for the 3rd release.
Memories EP was titled by my wife after listening to the songs without knowing their titles. Even though I have a similar titled chill album from 2010 – Memories of the Untold, I liked the idea.
The cover photo was taken in Asakusa Tokyo in 2019. It shows the Tokyo Skytree by the river Sumida, I filtered with filmy grain effect in Snapseed.
Regarding the new lofi tracks: Evening call was the first one. Actually it was ready around the finetune of Stay Home. Yet, I wanted to renew in a couple of ways and tested numerous mixing including my old master chain finetune, basic Ableton compressors and mixing effects as well as a new EQ-ed mid heavy lofi mix and Izotope Ozone mix. The latter won at the end and this is the result you can hear.

Winter mix with Memories lo-fi beats
Winter Mix for 2022 is a chill-out and lo-fi beats compilation including many Latte Chill songs from last year. I intended to make it a bit sad, more sad chill than usual. After all it is pretty much the middle of winter.
You are to listen to an hour long background music (maybe some vocal chops, but rarely) with true warmth of lo-fi, vinyl aura and quality chill beats. No ads in-between, hopefully a perfect set matching your mood.
