Saffron is a longer instrumental chill beat single, a free one from Leaf Green nature chill album inspired by an old video game.
Can you guess the game? If not, learn more through the link above. I guess you will soon realise it. And I hope you will enjoy reading and learning more about an album I pretty much liked working on.
Saffron was inspired by the city in this game (also known as Yamabuki City). A metropolis in the game, where you encounter a 11 story rocket building, where you need to fight your way. Also having telekinetic vibe with Gym leader Sabrina. And much more.
As usually, if you like the song: click on the cover to discover! You will be redirected to my Bandcamp page, where you can download the song for free. Name your price is written, you may offer 1 EUR, or nothing. A simple share helps me as well so I am thankful for any listen and support. Of course it is needless to leave the page, hit the play button below to enjoy Saffron.
Pewter is part of Leaf Green nature chill album saga, where I sampled hangpan (or hang) samples to create a minor toned sad chill ambience. It kind of offers a unique and bittersweet vibe. Maybe not that sad chill. Tell me! I am curious.
About Pewter
The chill beat was inspired by the Pewter City or by Japanese name: Nibi City. This place is considered to be a small oasis, where you fight for the Boulder badge, the first badge in the game – also getting ready for a very long journey through the caves of Cerulean. Remember those times? If so, you also played with the early Pokémon games. A lovely era of Nintendo and in general handheld consoles.
I wished to present this melancholy feeling, being tired after the battle but still looking forward to the rocks and mountains and preparing for a long journey.
What else I can say about this song?
As mentioned many times before: it is by no way affiliated to Pokémon official soundtracks, nor to Nintendo corp. No copyright infringement is intended. I simply replay my childhood’s fave games as a retro gamer, reliving my young age a bit and sample some songs based on the cities/areas ambience.
And lastly, if Bandcamp is not your taste, enjoy my YouTube links right here. Hit play button to start playing the song.

I also added Pewter to Dozens later, my twelve years anniversary compilation album. Enjoy Pewter with authentic Tokyo night scenery. A cover I shot in 2019 during my Japan trip. Learn more about it here.
I also featured Pewter on my mixes. See one instance below. I hope you like nature chill mixes, you may find tons on this website.
