New EP, inspired by the old samples we recorded with fellow Dark Cherry rock band mate, Kyoki. The concept is to mix TR808 beats with acoustic strings and piano, still keep the songs on minimalist level, not to overload the chill beats with harmonies and reverb.

Clouds was the last nature chill beats EP released right before Earth album. This EP consists 4 nature chill beats – Clouds – a featured song of Earth album and further 3 old songs’ Earth version – meaning the remix with Earth album mixing setups, including change in the beats and melodies either.

With regards to the cover, it was actually taken during a coffee break at my previous office. It was a winter day I guess as the sun was pretty much down and I was in the office. With a coffee of course.

Why Chill Mixtery?

To me it really reflects on everything I wished to tell you in short. Chill Mixtery relates to chill. It is also a mix I put together for you. Lastly, it is a mystery in certain cases why I have such lame songs. LoL!

I choose songs from Mixtery (my first album ever) in 2007. Secondly I chose some songs from Y, my first album composed in Germany. During Erasmus I put together quite some albums to practice music production.

Third was The Empire – my very fave from that era. This is an album quite far from regular Latte Chillness. Yet, I find myself re-listening it time to time. The forth one, Dragonic Eve was a bit of tryout in oriental chill. The last was was Memories of the Untold. A chill album I released on my birthday. A chill album where I felt like mixing the previous four albums into one as a upgrade of the songs I have released so far.
