  • [EP #36] Cowboy Gospel

    Cowboy Gospel space lofi ep

    Here I go: Cowboy Gospel is now available on most of my channels. I surely bid my time with this release. After all it is mainly inspired by the Netflix series of Cowboy Bebop released last November. The whole show is already cancelled.

    Lol, it really takes some time for me to start producing lo-fi beats. Anyways, I’m finished with the first released. I pushed it live just today. And I hope you will enjoy listening to my beats.

    Some anime wallpapers inspired by Cowboy Gospel

    Yes, I made some anime wallpapers inspired by the songs of Cowboy Gospel. All were using original photos we took with my wife, when we were in Tokyo. It happened in 2019 during sakura. An amazing time we spent there. If you have some time, check my YouTube playlist linked in the previous sentence. You will surely enjoy them. Instrumental chill beats with cherry blossom videos from Tokyo.

    Also, don’t forget to check this lo-fi EP. I put quite an effort into it. It offers true vinyl vibe thanks to the DAW-less setup I used for the production. Some of the beats were completely born AFK.

    About Bebop Tribute

    Cowboy Bebop anime is one of my fave series I have ever watched. Time to time I re-watch it for the sake of true space cowboy vibe. As a result I often thought about composing some beats inspired by the episodes, characters etc. At the end I decided to start the project back in 2017. It was an utterly long way. I mean I was aware that 24 chill-out beats cannot be finished in a year. But it took me literally 2 years t finish.

    In the meantime I was of course working on other lofi and chill beat projects. I could not stay in one sub-genre for that long. On the other hand I also wished to make it special. So I composed some of the songs such as Jamming with Edward on piano. In fact on a Korg Triton LE61. I also involved Viktor, my mate to spice beats with guitar and other instruments.

    Finally I released Bebop II. in December of 2018. After that started January of 2019 with Bebop III. and finished the project with a longer EP in February. Essentially that was Bebop IV. It was quite a journey. I hope it worth the time. Give it a spin and I am happy to hear any comments from you.
