    september latte chill

    September single contains one song, Digital Coffee that was composed part of my 2017 monthly chill beat challenge.

    The aim was to upload at least one beat each month referring to that month’s vibe. To be honest I loved the challenge – even though at first it was tough to find a time slot to prepare quality chill beats every month. At the end I was able to release a 15 song-long album Year 2017.

    By the way, it is important to mention that Digital Coffee became the theme song of my beloved first pet, Mr. Toka. This song was goofy enough to audiolise the vibe I felt, while playing with my pet after long days’ nights.

    Fun fact and I am not 100% sure, but I believe Mr. Toka was bought somewhere in September. In 2016, a year before. Thought it is only a chance and not an intended thing. Point is, Digital Coffee is one of the happiest songs ever produced as part of Latte Chill project and the theme of my first pet.

  • [Single] Path of Moon

    Path of Moon is a mellow yet sad chill beat I composed way back somewhere between 2011 and 2015, finally released in 2017.

    Yes, given the cover you may already guessed it right, it was released as part of Café Yami. A sad chill themed full LP. In fact the first in 6 years spiced with experimental beats but in general offering dark, slow beats.

    Path of Moon is an interesting fellow in the list as the song was produced years before the rest of the album. It was one of the unfinished songs I have done before my break back around 2012 or later. I guess it was started in FL Studio, I used at that time but finished in Ableton Live – what I started to use when I restarted working on beats. And in a way restarted Latte Chill project.

    The point is that this one offers expressive piano play and more laid back beats compare to many other songs I released recently. There I am more focusing on beats.

    Empty Moments is a sad chill single with a songs, the title song, released in 2017 around Café Yami with the same theme. As you may guess it is indeed around feeling a bit empty. That kind of floating in the nothing vibe you may encounter time to time. Not saying it is bad for a short period, but could be hurting for long.

    While composing my beats I am doing my best not to be affected by the surroundings, so to be clear: it was my theme. Yet, I can easily fit myself into this vibe sometimes. Like anyone else.
