About Singles #2

Singles #2 is a chill-out compilation album with 16 free songs from the vault. I originally released the mix on the early days of 2018 after finishing and active 2017 comeback with Latte Chill project.

Singles #2 features many chill songs that are quite different from each other. That is not a surprising thing after all it was my time searching for the perfect formula. Keep in mind, Latte Chill as project name was also decided in 2017.

Releases of 2017

The year started with Chinese Restaurant EP nominating 2 chill singles on the compilation album.

Out of these beats Midnight Melody is the closest to my heart. It was the very first chill beat I produced with my Novation Launchkey and kind of restarted my activities after 2011.

Following the year I felt like I have to work on a full album again. Again, as I was searching for the way, Café Yami ended up being the saddest album ever released. I don’t know how I ended up finishing an album like this. But at the end it became #7 on the hall of Latte Chill album’s fame (ha-ha).

End of 2017 and Singles #2

I ended 2017 with 2 more EPs and more clear concept. First Bebop I., a space ambient EP inspired by Cowboy Bebop anime. I became such of fan of this concept that I was even working on Bebop inspired beats in 2022. At that time, I decided to release 4 free singles (find them through the link) out of the 6 songs total.

Finally, as an X-mas present ReMixtery was released. ReMixtery contains chill beats from the early stage of my music career. Mixtery is the first album I released. Those songs were less chill and more experimental. ReMixtery was my remake EP. I worked on every songs I could recall 10 years later. I crushed the beats into pieces and rebuilt them as chill-out songs.

Misc and unreleased chill songs

Finally, I had 3 more songs. Those songs were not part of any albums. Yet, Singles #2 became their place where you can hear them. They are Leaving Bratislava, inspired by my trip to the Slovak capital. I loved the city, it is an interesting place to visit. Spiritual State – a dark chill beat I composed somewhere in early 2018 or late 2017. During that time I had pretty different projects (like Bebop 2 demo and Earth), therefore this song had a better place here. Finally Timeless Sunshine (17 remix), which is a remix beat. I tried DJing and producing some beats chopped with Ableton. Maybe not my best try ever, but I enjoyed it.
