  • [Single] Hate My Wings (alt ver.)

Hate My Wings (alt ver.) is another oldie but goodie experimental electro song I composed way back in 2006 with fellow bandmate Jigsaw in T21CB. While the experimental rock genre band’s concept was largely based on Malice Mizer and other Japanese visual kei bands.

As part of the Latte Chill era, my aim was to rework these songs instrumentally more closer to my concept of 2018. So I sampled lots of Nintendo Game Boy sounds and build a soundbank just for this songs.

Eventually ReMirakels chiptune EP came to life and I decided to share some of the songs free for anyone willing to listen/follow.

Please find Hate My Wings (alt ver.) here for free and give it a try below:

As this single is almost an EP with 3 demo songs as b-sides, give them all a spin below and enjoy the chiptune ride.

I have It’s My Day (demo), a funky little beat.

Eat My Butterfly (demo), an often covered song. As it is the very first own song we finished with Jigsaw. At the end no wonder we cover it time to time in different genres.

Finally, Kaktusz (demo), the sad ballad of the EP.

  • [Single] A cigarette

    A cigarette Latte Chill

A cigarette: an oldie but goodie on 25th August, 2017. A very short song (under 2 minutes), I composed because I fell in love with the beat. That’s it, no more. I also kept the melodies on minimum level to offer more space to that vibe the beat offers. It is more like an easy going sketch than a full-fledged song I guess.

You can find this song on my album: Café Yami, along with many others. I released this album after several (6…) years of break, so I let myself being a bit experimental here.

But also, feel free to download it. Literally free as I am not asking for any money. Enjoy the beat below or click on the cover to get the song.

Adding some video as well, a wonderful dinner in Tokyo. A place everyone must visit, so I did in 2019. I also put together a little article for this journey, if you are interested in reading about it, check it here.

Fun fact to the end: I’m not smoking. I guess, I have only been imagining what a cigarette would be like. Kind of that would be my expectation. Did I guess it right?

  • [Single] Deaf

    deaf

Deaf is an experimental single song I released in 2009, when studied abroad.

Bit of electro, bit of beats and an interesting fact: I composed it at my workplace in the coffee pauses without listening to the full piece focusing on the melodies~

Give it a try, grab it or listen below:

Later, I decided not to include the song on Y album – my first instrumental one, while living in Germany but left it as a free single. As years passed, I released a compilation under the title Singles #1, with 16 instrumental beats. Many of them are experimental ones of course, given the fact they were all composed during the first years of my solo career.

Essentially Deaf, as many other singles back then were all included. Making Singles #1 pretty eclectic. But at the end I create tons of mixes for specific moods. A compilation album on the other hand is overview of an era.

With regards to the special way of music production. I never ever did that again. It was a fun experiment but honestly I am not satisfied that much with the result. On the other hand, restart working on it is more difficult, then when you are in the mood of composing that one sketch.
