  • [EP #34] City Lo-fi

    City lo-fi

City Lo-fi is a new lo-fi house EP release. 4 new songs.
I will add free singles later this month. Make sure you follow me on here. Check my Youtube channel and follow me on Bandcamp as well. Or simply on any stream platforms.

The cover photo was taken on a late summer eve in Budapest by Hősök square during the football Euro cup. People were standing on the bridge looking at the screen and support their national teams. What a moment to grab!

    Why City Lo-fi?

In essence the title City Lo-fi reflects on my art in many aspects. Originally I started Latte Chill project to compose song far from my band’s genre (rock, metal, punk). So I started experimenting myself with electro beats, instrumental songs etc. As a result, I soon ended up composing chill songs and lately lo-fi beats. However I never limited myself to slow pieces only.

  • [Single] Gibraltar Scenery

New lofi house beats, Gibraltar Scenery from Urban Lo-fi EP. This song was inspired by my trip to Gibraltar back in 2006. Back then I made tons of photos there.
Clearly the cover is an own shot. We spent a day only in Gibraltar – it is pretty tough to get there. And you cannot drive in the country literally. The streets are so narrow that only locals can handle it. Not to mention their own currency. And the monkeys. There were monkeys everywhere.

So Gibraltar Scenery as an experimental lo-fi house beat set to display this vibe. Upbeat and increased tempo. Yet offers kind of a live for the moment vibe. I wonder if I was able to display this feeling for you.

Give it a spin and grab it for free if you liked it. Don’t forget to check the rest of the songs from Urban Lo-fi. All the songs are inspired from different cities. Click on the cover to get the link. You may download it from my Bandcamp page along with many other free beats. Check them over there and download the ones you prefer. Any comments are welcome.

Gibraltar Scenery live on PO-33 KO

Also, check my live video below. I recorded the production process as it was recorded on PO-33 KO. It is a little pocket sampler with tons of great features for rough 90€. Worth getting one if you are into lo-fi beats. You can literally take it everywhere and drop your beats on the go. I use mine since 2021 and as a result of excessive use: most of my beats are being produced on PO-33 KO. Really, since Stock Stories, this is my no. 1 music production tool. Simple, yet capable. Check this page for more info.

Lastly, if you are into YouTube, please find the link of my song below. It may have ads, depending on what YouTube subscriptions you have. Kindly, click on skip ad, if you encounter any. Please note that I cannot change this one, it was added by YouTube automatically. If you wish to support me, you can invite me for a ko-fi. Literally, I live on coffee so any latte support is welcome.

  • [Single] Berlin House

New single ‘Berlin House’ from Urban Lo-fi minimal house EP. This is the second song, but I can assure you, more to come.

Read more about the EP here! It is the first of this type. I mean the release. I intend to work on more lo-fi house beats if you guys like it. So, please share your views, I’m very open to your comments.
Grab this song for free here! Click to find my Bandcamp page.

Furthermore, let me share the live record session video with you. In fact this is the video of recording Berlin House. I had the chance to be at home with all my gadgets. So I decided to record this song for you. I used PO-33 KO by Teenage Engineering along with Tascam DR-05x. The whole song was recorded as one line. I edited, mastered later in Ableton.

Later I created another video for Berlin House. This time I did not do much to be honest. I had some funky time with our hedgehog, Lucius Couscous. You have to know that hedgehogs are generally disliking people and in general being held. This time however he seemed to enjoy a bit being in the centre of attention.
