This mix captures a literal moment in time. It was assembled live on a cold January day, with nothing but headphones, a playlist of some unreleased drafts and releases in my hand. Having one of the most difficult time in my life, I was in need of unwinding more than anything else.
I chose some of my songs like “Rainy Day” and “Clouds” to mirror the grey sky above. And partially my mood.
“I Love You (ReMixtery ver.)” brings in reverb-heavy emotion and vintage warmth. Referring to the ones I love.
“Big Ben Jazz” adds a hint of upbeat café atmosphere before drifting back into the quiet with “Endless Silence.” As I was drinking a coffee on the bench while working on the beat.
