About Singles #7
Singles #7 is the seventh chill mix compilation album with 16 new singles. I started choosing songs from Demon Festival EP. A release I produced fully on Koala Sampler. Secondly I added all songs from Stock Stories EP. It was my first release produced on PO-33. Wabi-Sabi album was released right after Stock Stories. The oriental lofi beats release nominated 4 singles to the mix. The forth chill release was Ultra Moon and the last one was Urban Lo-fi. It was my first minimal house release.
Free chill songs for you
I find it is important to offer singles for free. I am not living off from my music. It is only a hobby of mine. Still as I do it for almost 15 years now I share all my songs most stream platforms. Naturally I am happy for every ko-fi and similar contribution of my fans. But I remember being young, having no money. As a result I made sure that my music would be listenable for everyone.
Singles #7 vs best of albums
In case of best of albums I am choosing songs either performing best or my personal favourites. Whereas Singles series are built up from the free singles. So in short: Singles #7 was defined before the release of the singles as a planning process. While best of albums such as Dozens or Desired Decade are being put together after the release of the albums.
