New album after Ultra Moon – focusing on nature chill and lofi vibes. Warm melodies and sad beats – 11 songs and 24 minutes of background music to support your focus.
Starfish is the last nature chill-out single from Turtle Island. A free beat you may grab below by clicking on the cover. It is a photo of an actual starfish I took years before. If I recall it well it was taken in Sardinia, Italy.
By the way, read more about my trip there in 2019 and check my chill videos.
Generally, Turtle Island is a concept EP I got based on my travels. The island of Zante heavily influenced me. But I wished to make it more a tribute to the Mediterranean Sea. I used Koala Sampler with chill guitar samples to make it sound dope. I consider this EP a medium tempo one. Not close to 60 bpm but more to 80-100. The reason is simple. Time-stretching is fairly doable with DAWs but yet to with Koala Sampler. On the other hand it is one of the EPs where I composed some songs on the go. It was more a test of the application and I feel like it was a success. In case of Starfish, I added some blips and boops with my PO-33 KO.
Anyways, enough of this, please enjoy the beat. Finally, thank you for listening!
Last year during the lockdown I had more time and spent quite some time DJing my songs, creating 1 hour or 30 mins chill-out playlists based on different feelings and vibes. In 2021 we had more space and fewer lockdowns. Still, YouTube’s audience seems to like these lofi playlists. As a result: more to come.
Autumn Mix 2021 was a bit more easier as I composed bunch of bittersweet songs in the past months.

Albums and EPs used for Autumn Mix 2021
First I grabbed quite some songs from Wabi-Sabi. This album marks the start of a new era producing songs with PO-33 KO, a little battery-supported sampler. I also nicked some beats from the Ultra Moon album. This LP has quite a story behind it. If you have some time – click on the link and read the connection between Moon, Ultra Moon, and Ultra Sun albums.
My third EP was Demon Festival, my first release produced on a mobile app. I’m not saying Koala Sampler is flawless, but if you have some good samples, you can create good songs.
