Why Chill Mixtery?

To me it really reflects on everything I wished to tell you in short. Chill Mixtery relates to chill. It is also a mix I put together for you. Lastly, it is a mystery in certain cases why I have such lame songs. LoL!

I choose songs from Mixtery (my first album ever) in 2007. Secondly I chose some songs from Y, my first album composed in Germany. During Erasmus I put together quite some albums to practice music production.

Third was The Empire – my very fave from that era. This is an album quite far from regular Latte Chillness. Yet, I find myself re-listening it time to time. The forth one, Dragonic Eve was a bit of tryout in oriental chill. The last was was Memories of the Untold. A chill album I released on my birthday. A chill album where I felt like mixing the previous four albums into one as a upgrade of the songs I have released so far.

Autumn Set is a pack of almost hour long chill beats. A mix I put together to offer some study and work music

About Autumn Set 2020

It was 2020 when I first started working on chill sets, DJ sets in different genres. As it was fall back then and the weather was colder. I spent more time with music production. However I also realised how much I love the cool weather and colourful leaves. As a result I started working on a bittersweet set, called autumn set.

In order to maintain the balance between the reminiscence of summer but the foreshadowing vision of winter, I chose songs from 3 albums. First Leaf Green, a nature chill inspired happy album. Second, I added some bittersweet notes with Orange album. An album I released in the early months of 2020. Finally, in order to maintain the balance, I chose a song from Winter Fruits EP. As a result we have a transition from green to orange all the way to the cold white winter.

About Nature Chill on the first floor set

Let me start by the end: the first floor. We live in a little flat in Budapest on the first floor. As a result, when I started creating sets during the 2020 lock down. I often did it outside in the good weather on the balcony.

As for nature chill, the answer is a bit longer. When I started composing beat based instrumental chill songs, I felt like missing something. All songs composed were a bit sterile. I missed a bit of an organic vibe. So I started experiencing sounds and looked for acoustic samples the much possible.

I am talking about the production of Earth album now. My tenth full album produced in 2018 along with As the Sun Sets, Fire at Night and Clouds EPs. This set of releases was ever considered as nature chill. Oriental vibe, acoustic kicks and soft piano melodies with bunch of reverb. I had to be careful not to add too much of reverb becoming space ambient.

After releasing Earth I felt like I will work on more albums in this genre. Leaf Green is a perfect example as a follow-up. Here I experimented a bit with arpeggios. Moon album on the other hand flavours nature chill with exotic spice.

Southern Vibes and Zeitgeist Guitarist EPs both features guest guitarists still remaining on the chill side of instrumental music. Whereas Tanabata is an EP I composed with one instrument rack on one night. All 5 songs!

Finally, A Drop of Water is another example for returning to the roots. After releasing several upbeat EPs in 2020, by August I decided to release another nature chill EP. I was unsure if it should be an album or EP. But I felt like the four song expresses my feelings completely.
