    About Sad Moments chill mixes

    Sad moments chill mix was first released in 2020. During the lock down I had more time at home, so I started DJing to have quality time. As a result I created tons of mixes in different moods, mindset, length etc. Sad moments was one of the best during this time – so I am releasing the 2021 version now.

    37 minutes of chill music to listen to while doing homework. A sad but still beaty type of lofi music. You can listen to the playlist on Spotify and/or Youtube depending on your needs.

    I chose songs from several albums including the recently released Ultra Moon and Ultra Sun LPs. I also brought some sad songs from different EPs such as Turtle Island or Pagoda.

    Furthermore I added some songs from one of my most loved lofi EP from this year Memories. An EP I released as the follow-up of Stay Home album – my first lofi releases using TR808 beats and vinyl effects to offer that bittersweet warm vibes as part of Latte Chill beats.

  • [Single] Milan Melody

    Milan Melody is the first song from City Lo-fi EP. A lofi house release I uploaded for every stream platform by 12th November in 2021. All songs were composed and performed on Pocket Operator 33 KO by Teenage Engineering and recorded live. I enhanced overall sound with DAW after the record but made no further edit.

    The song was inspired by my journey to Italy, the photo was taken in the city I composed the song about. It may look a bit old – but due to recent lock downs I travel rarely. I use old photos from the vault to show you the vibe of the song. Even before clicking on it.

    Of course feel free to visit my page for more chill mixes if you prefer that. I upload mixes, beats – even lives time to time. I often release chill albums as well such as Ultra Sun or Wabi-Sabi. City Lo-fi is more a rare thing as it is more house than chill. Though in case you love them, I will produce more beats like that. So do not hesitate to reach out and tell me your honest opinion.     Generally Ultra Sun singles ended up being more sad even though the album offers a great mix a beats. At least to my point of view. To support this, I decided to end the list of singles with Hokulani. This lo-fi beat is rather upbeat. More a lofi house song than a chill one. I wished to show that Ultra Sun offers some surprises to the listener and it is worth giving a spin.

    The cover photo features the mountains of Lefkada, Nidri town. There’s a beautiful waterfall close to the city. But it takes an hour of walk time to get there. During that time, you can shoot such scenery if you brought your camera. As Ultra Sun is inspired by the island of the Mediterranean sea. I guess it is not a surprise that I used photos like this.

    To be honest I am not 100% sure but it is possible that Hokulani was composed in Lefkada as well. It was one of the travels I brought my PO-33 with me. I used it during the nights to jam. And many of those sketches became part of my releases.
