    About Sad Moments chill mixes

    Sad moments chill mix was first released in 2020. During the lock down I had more time at home, so I started DJing to have quality time. As a result I created tons of mixes in different moods, mindset, length etc. Sad moments was one of the best during this time – so I am releasing the 2021 version now.

    37 minutes of chill music to listen to while doing homework. A sad but still beaty type of lofi music. You can listen to the playlist on Spotify and/or Youtube depending on your needs.

    I chose songs from several albums including the recently released Ultra Moon and Ultra Sun LPs. I also brought some sad songs from different EPs such as Turtle Island or Pagoda.

    Furthermore I added some songs from one of my most loved lofi EP from this year Memories. An EP I released as the follow-up of Stay Home album – my first lofi releases using TR808 beats and vinyl effects to offer that bittersweet warm vibes as part of Latte Chill beats.

  • [Single] Lanakila

    Lanakila is out~ New single to start November with. This is my third single, released for free from Ultra Sun album.

    From genre perspective I would say nature chill-out and lo-fi. It is due to the fact that it was produced on PO-33. Lanakila was live recorded with all its swings and minor failures if there are any. PO-33 is offering that true lo-fi vibe that is difficult to simulate with DAWs. At least you would need to use more effects by doing so.

    On the other hand it was sampled on a lo-fi sampler, that is offering a different vibe already. As for chill, well give it a spin. This song is rather slow and heavy. Generally this album is more heavy than Ultra Moon, prepare more surprising effects and rhythm chaos compare to the leaner Moon songs.

    The cover photo features a ship trip by the shores of Lefkada. Lanakila and generally Ultra Sun songs were inspired by the Mediterranean sea. You will find similar covers as part of my releases. Nature chill-out really brings such a mood that is offering sunny photos and acoustic instruments. I hope you will enjoy chilling with Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon albums.

  • [Single] Berlin House

    New single ‘Berlin House’ from Urban Lo-fi minimal house EP. This is the second song, but I can assure you, more to come.

    Read more about the EP here! It is the first of this type. I mean the release. I intend to work on more lo-fi house beats if you guys like it. So, please share your views, I’m very open to your comments.

    Furthermore, let me share the live record session video with you. In fact this is the video of recording Berlin House. I had the chance to be at home with all my gadgets. So I decided to record this song for you. I used PO-33 KO by Teenage Engineering along with Tascam DR-05x. The whole song was recorded as one line. I edited, mastered later in Ableton.

    Later I created another video for Berlin House. This time I did not do much to be honest. I had some funky time with our hedgehog, Lucius Couscous. You have to know that hedgehogs are generally disliking people and in general being held. This time however he seemed to enjoy a bit being in the centre of attention.
