It is time for the second single: Mount Chimney. A lo-fi chill beat from my latest album, Ruby. Mount Chimney, the title song is the opening beat of Ruby album as well. As Ruby offers 15 new songs, worth checking them all, still this song is one of my faves from the LP.
Fun facts about Mount Chimney
The song was inspired by the imaginary place of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire games. I recently decided to replay my old games from the vault. Besides Nintendo Switch I own all the handheld consoles. So that means I have old classic GameBoy, the Color and Advance as well. Not to mention DS and 2DS. I kind of enjoy playing along Kanto, Johto and all the other regions.
Time to time I drop some beats as well – lo-fi, of course. Basically this is how Mount Chimney was born.
With regards to the cover, that is an actual photo. We were hiking with my wife in the mountains of Mátra. It is a beautiful mountain in Hungary, worth visiting if you are into walking in the nature. As a match I intended to make the song a bit of a mix. Mixing nature chill and lo-fi vibe. For that purpose I used PO-33 KO and Koala Sampler.

Soot-o-Polis lo-fi single is out to soothe your mind. Click on the player above to give my latest beat a listen. If you like what you hear, check Ruby album, I have recently released to listen all the 15 new songs. Soot-o-Polis is part of a concept album, where the songs are sketched based on a retro video game. That game is Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, that I have recently re-played using my old Game Boy Advance.
Respecting the authors, I am not covering the original city songs, but produce new beats based on the time I have spent there. I mean literally and virtually. Soot-o-Polis on the other hand is one of my have places. Essentially I have spent time with it and put all my efforts. Furthermore this is why I chose it as no.1 single for Ruby album. Yes, that means more to come. Keep following for more.
Fun facts about Soot-o-Polis
Well, the first one is already know, it was inspired by an old Pokémon game. Second would be the cover. It was shot in the city of Nidri by the shore. The city is on an island called Lefkada, Greece. The reason for being so lo-fi is not just because of Snapseed. I used my old Xiaomi action camera, that is usually in my pocket when I swim in the sea. And voila. I love that style.
Another fun fact about Soot-o-Polis: it has a free b-side song on the single. So worth grabbing it.

My 6 album choice for the anniversary mix
Similarly to the first part of the anniversary mix, I started with Travellers album. Being one of my most recent album, I have founded many beats I wish to share with you. Similarly to that, Sapphire also has a song on the mix. Apart from them the “ultras” – Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are present. Both feature new songs and remakes from Moon album. All produced with the super budget sampler PO-33 KO. Above the listed ones Wabi-Sabi, a Far East inspired lo-fi LP and the sad chill album Café Yami nominated some songs.
Each release has its story, so I linked them here for you. Click on the interesting ones and read about them.
7 more EPs supporting the anniversary mix
Starting with Turtle Island. The nature chill-out EP produced on Koala Sampler app. Great little application for your smartphone. Check ‘Starfish’ if you are interested. Southern Vibes is another nature chill beat release with guitar collabs. Some space chill songs were also added including Bebop I. and Bebop II.
What else? Some experimental songs remained. I find them interesting and matching the vibe of this mix. Listen to them and let me know if you liked them. First notable mention: BR.Exit. ‘Impossible Condition’ is right at the beginning of the mix. Inspired by real world politics this time. Well, we were all surprised back then. Check BR.Exit if you are into heavy electric chill sketches. Second, Scars. This EP was published in 2011 with vocals. Later in 2020 I reworked it to match them with Latte Chill vibe.
Finally, Urban Lo-fi. Back in 2021 I was experimenting with lofi house as genre. I produced some sketches and published as an EP. All songs are inspired by different cities I travelled to. I also wished to add some covers with the photos I took. As a result I decided to make them free. So I can play with covers as well. If you click on the link above, you may find some dope covers by me.
Thanks for reading the story of this mix. Scroll for the free beats one more.
