Chill Mixtery #6 is a chill mix by Latte Chill (Nature Chill mix & Urban Lofi set from 2019-2020)

I’m a bit late I know. But I do my best to gradually catch up with my 2020 roadmap. As a result, I will release some great chill sets for you pretty soon.
One could say I chilled enough on my chill-out and lofi mixes haha.

Here I come with a 1-hour mix of chill-out beats from 10 Latte Chill EPs. All of them were released in the past 2 years.

About this Chill Mixtery

Chill Mixtery is really-really the best of selections of Latte Chill art. I usually release this mix after either 5 albums or 10 EPs. In this particular case, I produced the mix after finishing the Demon Festival. My 30th EP finished in 2021.

Chill Mixtery #6 features songs from 2019 releases

1) Akira
After watching the cyberpunk movie I felt inspired to produce an electro-chill EP. Smooth samples, a bit of an electronic feeling. Ideal for driving in the night.
2) Chill-Mas
Well, this is about X-mas songs, so I did not include them in the mix.

2020 releases

3) Aurora
My first EP was produced with Novation Launchpad Mini. As a result it a more a dance release than a chill one. All 6 songs use samples.
4) Masters
Inspired by the smartphone game of Pokémon. I believe it is pretty similar to Aurora. However, less dance-oriented.
5) A Drop of Water
A nature chill beats EP after having my beautiful trips around the Mediterranean sea. Truly acoustic, ideal for a journey.
6) Darkest Cherry
In Memoriam Dark Cherry, my rock band.
7) Winter Fruits
A little piano-chill EP.

Finally 2021 releases

8) Memories
Truly lofi set with TR808 and a warm vinyl vibe. Inspired by winter and being come as a couch potato.
9) Pagoda
For the joy of spring and sakura.
10) Demon Festival
My first lofi release was produced on Koala Sampler. It is a smartphone app available through Google Play. Minimalist, simple. Easy to use. But you will need to upload your samples on the phone.

Chill Mixtery #5 by Latte Chill is a nature chill-out & urban lo-fi compilation mix with a selection from 2019-2020

A dedicated lo-fi chill mix from certain era of Latte Chill project. This time I chose nature chill-out beats mixing with urban lo-fi tracks from album 11-12-13-14-15, so Soul Silver 8-bit chiptune instrumental beats; Leaf Green nature chill beats album; Moon exotic nature chill songs; Orange chill’n’bass beats and Stay Home urban lo-fi LP.

Soul Silver as the black sheep of Chill Mixtery #6

Soul Silver album is a weird one as it features chiptune songs sampled from Game Boy Advance. It was also an interesting release as it was my first inspired by Pokémon game. It was followed by Leaf Green, which is a truly nature chill-out release with some arpeggios to spice. But yes, this one is also inspired by Pokémon games.

More nature chill-out on Chill Mixtery #6

After Leaf Green shortly Moon album was released. On one side, yes, it is also inspired by the same game and I consider it as a nature chill-out album. On the other hand Moon was a bit different for me. This album is fully built on my travels and that exotic experience. I would say Moon album is heavily influenced by Sardinia and Zakynthos.

It was followed by Orange. Orange was my 14th album and the 4th one offering songs for Chill Mixtery #6. It became a bit bittersweet compare to the previous releases, but I believe that was its fate. I mean, time-to-time we ought to release some albums that are sad in order to be happy again.

Lo-fi at the end of Chill Mixtery #6

Last but not least: Stay Home. My first ever fully lo-fi album released after got infected during the pandemic by the end of 2020. It was a very interesting period of my life. I was stuck at home, leaving me no option to literally leave my room either. I decided to use up my free time and start learning something new. During these weeks, I learnt to use Izotope Vinyl VST as well as how to sound more oldish. I started learning the way how to sample melodies. Where to find them, etc.

As a results I was able to finish Stay Home in a couple of weeks. Maybe not much more than a week. I felt renewed when I was declared healthy and could go out again. This is why maybe, that I added so many songs from this album to Chill Mixtery #6. I believe that this release changed a bit the course of Latte Chill project as well, focusing more on lo-fi from now on.

Chill Mixtery #4

Chill Mixtery #4 is out and loud. Nature and oriental chill-out beats with a hint of lo-fi. A selection from 10 EPs from 2018-2019. In case you are interested in them, you can scroll until the end of the tracklist and find the links to all my releases on stream platforms free.

This time the mix is well over 90 minutes (truth to be told just under 100) with a total number of 32 songs including collabs with guitarists as well as remakes of my old art-rock bands’ songs. In short a variety of instrumental music carefully selected.

Releases of Chill Mixtery

Color Scheme oriental EP is the starting point of Chill Mixtery #4. It is followed by ReMirakels. An experimental chiptune EP. The third release is Southern Vibes from 2018. I feature Mr. Adamistique as a guest artist on the guitars. Number four, Tanabata was a surprise EP. I composed the whole thing in one night. I loved working on the EP that offers a dreamy floating vibe.

It was followed by three space ambient releases: Bebop II., Bebop III. and Bebop IV. After having enough float in the space. Let us return to Earth with a hefty topic: BR.Exit. It was quite a shock in 2019 when it really happened. An electro experimental mix shows my feelings.

Finally two more releases to go. Tokyo19, a short oriental EP I composed after my return from Tokyo. Zeitgeist Guitarist on the other hand is the result of a major co-work with two fellow artist. The last EP of Chill Mixtery #4 features guests artists in 5 out of 6 songs.

It is difficult for me to express my feelings after finishing a mix like this. After all it really sums up 10 releases. As many, I change a bit through every beats. As a result this is really a chill mixtery. You may find space beats, oriental ones. Also upbeat and sad songs. That makes your 90 minutes different. Enjoy~
