  • [Single] Mossdeep

Mossdeep - Latte Chill lo-fi single

New single: Mossdeep. The third and last single from Ruby album is now available.

Remaining within the boundaries of lo-fi but enjoying the simplicity of PO-33 KO. This is what Mossdeep is offering to the listeners. A song from the middle of Ruby album, released along with 14 other new songs by the first days of June. I intended to continue Sapphire album, I released in 2021. But at the end this album became more lo-fi. I feature more royalty free samples and somehow the drum parts ended up being less harsh. Of course there is a major difference between the two albums. While Sapphire was composed in Greece, during my trip to Lefkada, Ruby was born in Hungary. On the other hand I played the same game as an originator, so I intended to offer similar vibe.

Did I succeed? Give both a spin and let me know!

I also add my YouTube link here as I released a little promotional video of Mossdeep recently. I used some stock videos as recently I had less chance to be outside due to my work. At the end I believe this video is able to visualise what I wished to show you as a musician. A bit of water, the chill of the woods, the waves of the ocean. Ruby is heavily influenced with nature chill vibe mixing it with the imperfection of lo-fi.

  • Chill Music for Focus & Productivity

Chill music for focus and productivity

Chill music has been used by musicians and artists for decades to create an atmosphere that encourages creativity and relaxation. It’s also great for getting things done at home or in the office. Without any further ado, please find my list of 5 fave chill music below

The Top 5 Best Chill Out Music For Focus And Productivity (Chillout)

    5) Calm Zen Lofi Night (HipHop Instrumental)

And in general Chillhop Music channel. Great collection of chill beats, I find them worth following to hear what is trendy and learn more about upcoming music producers.

    4) j’san – in time

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONVrNgxln8w

j’san is a great chill artist known for his chill piano plays. Worth following his channel. He is releasing songs regularly so it is highly advised to click on the subscribe button.

    3) DDBY – Old under the sun (from Cafe de Touhou 2)

DDBY is offering large variety of coffee chill beats and lounge vibe music from Japan. Luckily they also have a channel featuring great songs for free. This one is a bit different from the rest on the list with the café vibe. But DDBY is a regular guest on my playlists.

    2) DJ Krush – Stellar Wind

I could have chose among many other if we are talking about DJ Krush. One of my biggest fave chill producers ever. Luckily he travels a lot across the globe. So keep your eyes open and make sure to buy a ticket for his gigs when he’s around. He is on the field for more than 30 years now. Chill, lo-fi and hip hop are all essential genres for him. You may even see him performing in Buddhist churches. A really awesome chill DJ.

    1) DJ Okawari – Flower Dance

Not as well-known as DJ Krush but a great chill DJ. DJ Okawari is younger and offering less albums, still to my point of view a great and influential artist. The songs are a bit more mellow, less lo-fi (again to my point of view). Kind of perfect for both working or even during talk with friends. It may serve as a perfect background music, but you can enjoy his beats while walking.

+1) Latte Chill – Midnight Melody

It marks my return to my solo project as well as my first song after a rough 5 year break. This song really means a lot and well, I believe it is a good chill music beat at the end. Give it an ear yourself and grab it for free if you like it.

My 6 album choice for the anniversary mix

Similarly to the first part of the anniversary mix, I started with Travellers album. Being one of my most recent album, I have founded many beats I wish to share with you. Similarly to that, Sapphire also has a song on the mix. Apart from them the “ultras” – Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are present. Both feature new songs and remakes from Moon album. All produced with the super budget sampler PO-33 KO. Above the listed ones Wabi-Sabi, a Far East inspired lo-fi LP and the sad chill album Café Yami nominated some songs.

Each release has its story, so I linked them here for you. Click on the interesting ones and read about them.

7 more EPs supporting the anniversary mix

Starting with Turtle Island. The nature chill-out EP produced on Koala Sampler app. Great little application for your smartphone. Check ‘Starfish’ if you are interested. Southern Vibes is another nature chill beat release with guitar collabs. Some space chill songs were also added including Bebop I. and Bebop II.

What else? Some experimental songs remained. I find them interesting and matching the vibe of this mix. Listen to them and let me know if you liked them. First notable mention: BR.Exit. ‘Impossible Condition’ is right at the beginning of the mix. Inspired by real world politics this time. Well, we were all surprised back then. Check BR.Exit if you are into heavy electric chill sketches. Second, Scars. This EP was published in 2011 with vocals. Later in 2020 I reworked it to match them with Latte Chill vibe.

Finally, Urban Lo-fi. Back in 2021 I was experimenting with lofi house as genre. I produced some sketches and published as an EP. All songs are inspired by different cities I travelled to. I also wished to add some covers with the photos I took. As a result I decided to make them free. So I can play with covers as well. If you click on the link above, you may find some dope covers by me.

Thanks for reading the story of this mix. Scroll for the free beats one more.
