    Spring Nite Beats Mix in 2020 was my first DJ on our balcony 2 years before. Now as an anniversary I am testing something completely new out there. It is my first attempt to DJ on Koala Sampler. Keep in mind that this mix is an experimental van with some lo-fi house and electro beats.

    About Spring Nite Mixes

    Spring Nite Mixes is on one side a relatively fresh set of mixes by Latte Chill project. On the other hand quite important one. It was my first attempt to DJ on our balcony with a Novation Launchpad mini in 2020. Two years later I DJ-ed my beats with Koala Sampler and Akai Pro LPD-8. In short this mix is offering a something new to the viewer.

    I also changed a bit the video style for this live. Furthermore it is not a fully chill-out and lo-fi mix. I intend to add some odd beats such as chiptune songs or 8-bit sampled Game Boy Advance beats. It offers a more catchy and upbeat mix. I hope you will like it.

    Songs where gathered from several releases including Masters EP – a pad chill release from 2020 with electro beats. Stock Stories, an experimental PO-33 KO produced 8 song mini. Spring Nite Mix is in need of some lo-fi house beats. Urban Lo-fi offered Berlin House to keep up with the tempo. Travellers hit stream platforms early this year nominating several songs for the mix. Rock 128 and Soul Silver albums are offering the chiptune beats of the mix. Lastly, Sapphire and A Drop of Water offered some free songs for Spring Nite Mix. Find the beats below if you liked them.

    About Lofi Night mix

    As the name suggests this mix contains less upbeat songs. My aim was to offer you a lo-fi set you can listen at night. I like drinking coffee occasionally at night, or a tea. They help me soothe my mind, while hot drinks warms me up. Especially loving this hobby of mine during winter, when it is cold outside.

    LPs and EPs of Lofi Night mix

    I choose from a large variety of Latte Chill releases. Altogether 10 LPs and EPs are participating on the first Lofi Night mix. The first one to mention is Chinese Restaurant, the EP that marks the return of Latte Chill. After almost 5 years of moderate break I restarted activities in 2017 with this 6 song piece. Fire at Night and As the Sun Sets are both nature chill-out EPs released back in 2018 before Earth album. I further spiced the mix with some space chill-out EPs inspired by Cowboy Bebop anime. They are Bebop II. and Bebop IV. For Lo-fi Memories and Stay Home to offer the most songs for this mix. Finally I had some songs from A Drop of Water, Tokyo19 and Tanabata EPs.

    Enjoy my afternoon coffee with a very old experimental beats compilation. Listen to it with the ear that these songs featured vocals many years before. After a while as Latte Chill project formed to a different way, I removed them but I wished to share part of them to the wider audience. So I started a mass amount of remastering process where I also worked hard on these songs. I removed the old vocal parts and emphasized more on the instrumental bits to make these sketches full. This way of course the songs might be weird a bit but for me they are part of the experimental era of Latte Chill. It helped me become what I am now as a musician.
