    Albums Featured in the Mix

I love blending the past with the present, as a result, my mixes usually feature albums from different Latte Chill eras. First, I could mention the Orange album, an LP I released in 2020. I feature some songs from this release but also offer you a song to grab below.

Another one was the Y album I published back then in 2007, right before The Empire – being the first fully instrumental release of the Latte Chill project. The Bebop 2 demo album also has some space-chill beats in this mix.

I further nicked some songs from the Japan-inspired oriental chill vibe Tokyo19. This EP is truly inspired by my first journey to the Far East. Memories of the Untold also offers a true oriental chill vibe with songs such as ‘Dreams about The Empire’. Read more about the story behind the capital ‘The’ on the album’s page.

When 5 albums are not enough for a Nature Chill mix

Remaining loyal to nature chill as a genre, I chose several songs from Leaf Green. “Arpeggios and acoustic instruments.” Their mix could describe this album the best. It is, of course, followed by the Moon album. Both releases are inspired by Pokémon games. Yet, the difference is vast. Moon focuses a lot on exotic vibes, whereas Leaf Green remains more acoustic.

To a surprise, Nature Chill on the First Floor features a couple of songs from my very first album: Mixtery. As this release from 2007 is pretty experimental. I rarely feature them on chill mixes. Furthermore, I added some beats from ReMixtery EP as well. It might be possible that some Mixtery beats are not matching the vibe. But this is why I remixed this album under ReMixtery in 2017.

Lastly, some dream pop songs from Tanabata. My dearest reverb-ful floating EP. And a song from the Year 2017.

The first Nature Chill of the First Floor was in 2020, and I hope to release more in 2022!

Soul Silver as the black sheep of Chill Mixtery #6

Soul Silver album is a weird one as it features chiptune songs sampled from Game Boy Advance. It was also an interesting release as it was my first inspired by Pokémon game. It was followed by Leaf Green, which is a truly nature chill-out release with some arpeggios to spice. But yes, this one is also inspired by Pokémon games.

More nature chill-out on Chill Mixtery #6

After Leaf Green shortly Moon album was released. On one side, yes, it is also inspired by the same game and I consider it as a nature chill-out album. On the other hand Moon was a bit different for me. This album is fully built on my travels and that exotic experience. I would say Moon album is heavily influenced by Sardinia and Zakynthos.

It was followed by Orange. Orange was my 14th album and the 4th one offering songs for Chill Mixtery #6. It became a bit bittersweet compare to the previous releases, but I believe that was its fate. I mean, time-to-time we ought to release some albums that are sad in order to be happy again.

Lo-fi at the end of Chill Mixtery #6

Last but not least: Stay Home. My first ever fully lo-fi album released after got infected during the pandemic by the end of 2020. It was a very interesting period of my life. I was stuck at home, leaving me no option to literally leave my room either. I decided to use up my free time and start learning something new. During these weeks, I learnt to use Izotope Vinyl VST as well as how to sound more oldish. I started learning the way how to sample melodies. Where to find them, etc.

As a results I was able to finish Stay Home in a couple of weeks. Maybe not much more than a week. I felt renewed when I was declared healthy and could go out again. This is why maybe, that I added so many songs from this album to Chill Mixtery #6. I believe that this release changed a bit the course of Latte Chill project as well, focusing more on lo-fi from now on.

List of albums I chose the songs from

I chose beats from 10 releases in total. So we can say all songs are from different Latte Chill releases. The chill mix starts off with a song from The Empire. We go back all the way to 2009. I composed this album in Germany as an exchange student. The second beats is a lo-fi one from Memories. After the jump to 2021 we travel back to 2019 for a space ambient song from Bebop IV. After the so many jumps we chill a bit with a nature beat from Clouds EP. Masters EP to offer the next beat ‘Harmony’ to the mix. Top 10 Home Office Chill Beats II. mix goes on with Year 2017 song, followed by a laid back nature chill beat from As the Sun Sets EP. Last three instrumental beats are from Bebop II., Chinese Restaurant and Y.
